There is a growing To-Go-culture – not only in Germany – nearly in every urban region of Europe. The coffee-cup has got a symbol of lifestyle, but on the other hand all this stuff is also strongly connected to fast-food.
So the next step of the game will be to recycle all this one-way-packaging. That is a typical german question because Germany is the leading player concerning recycling.
The best solution at the moment is producing these packaging material out of cornflour or composed of paper-material and cornflour. But this gives only the first step giving a 100% natural, renewable and regrowing basic material but does not give a solution of recacling. All these materials are to be composted naturally – but at the moment there exist to systems to do that. Facing the fact that we have now a huge tendency to sell more and more food in cups and similar packaging as take-away-food their should be a solution for an advances waste-management.
